Multi-tenant resale

The business model is built in, not bolted on

BuildWithHQ assumes from the first screen that you are building something other companies will pay you for. Tenant provisioning, branded domains, per-customer billing, entitlements, and payouts are part of the platform rather than the integration project you do afterwards.

How the money moves

A flat fee to us, whatever you like to them

You pay a flat monthly subscription for the platform. You set your own prices for your own customers. The platform takes a share of that builder-to-customer revenue, collected and paid out through Stripe Connect.

You set the price

Your pricing, your packaging, your margins. The platform does not dictate what you charge or cap what you can earn.

Stripe Connect

Collection, payouts, and the compliance around them are handled by Stripe rather than assembled by you.

Entitlements

What a customer has paid for is enforced by the platform, so an unpaid feature is genuinely off rather than merely hidden.

Custom work as a line item

Bespoke work you do for one customer is tracked as a sellable, entitled item with a start and an end.

Per-customer operations

Each tenant is a real boundary, not a filter

How isolation works

Branded domains

Each customer can reach the application on their own hostname, with certificates handled for them.

White-label presentation

Your brand, or your customer's, without a separate deployment per company.

Per-customer configuration

Roles, locations, terminology, and forked pages that belong to one company and affect nobody else.

Their own data export

Your customers can export their data too. This is a feature you can sell against every incumbent that will not offer it.

The partner channel

For MSPs and resellers

A second route to market, for firms that already own the customer relationship.

Managed service providers and consultancies frequently have the client base but not the product. The partner program lets them bring builders onto the platform, deploy on their own hardware where required, and earn on the builders they introduce for as long as those builders remain with them.

Appliance updates for partner-operated hardware are pull-based and signed, with health-gated swaps, so a partner's fleet stays current without anyone hand-patching machines.

Common questions

Questions about this

What percentage does the platform take?

A share of builder-to-customer revenue alongside the flat subscription. Exact rates are being finalized ahead of public launch and are documented in the billing guide.

Do my customers know they are on BuildWithHQ?

Not unless you want them to. The application carries your branding, on your domain.

Can I move a customer off my application?

Yes, and they can take their data with them. Export is scoped per account and includes files, AI data, and log history.
